Hi All,
I've been suffering from hyperhidrosis since birth.
My condition worsened as i grew older and up to the point where i could not accept it anymore.
I tried many different kinds of treatments ranging from chinese medicine to perscriptions from doctors.
Recently, I've been advised by a nutritionist to take a range of supplements to try and cure myself. He advised strongly against surgery (i contemplated it as a last resort to cure myself) and insisted that i tried supplements for 2-3 months before deciding to go for surgery.
After 1 month of taking various supplements, my condition did not improve.
However just yesterday, the nutritionist advised me to take probiotics as he could not figure out any other reasons that my condition did not improve.
To my surprise my wet and dripping hands + feet stayed dry till today!
It has never happened in my whole life before!
I cant say for sure that this will work 100% until I've given it more time but so far, i would say that i'm amazed at the results.
I hope this will work out for me and would like to share this with others who have lingering doubts about surgery.
However, be warned that supplements and especially probiotics is not cheap...however i really feel uncomfortable about surgery...
Will keep you guys updated about my condition! wish me luck! |

its been 1 week now since i've been taking probiotics.
so far its been working wonders for me.
i've reduced sweating by at least 60% will only start sweating when i'm out under the hot sun...however i dry up quickly once i'm back in normal room temperature.
huge improvement for me as previously once i start sweating it will be non stop dripping for the rest of the day even though i'm blow drying myself under a fully blasted air cond...my socks will be soaked and i have to take them off and hang it to dry before i can wear them again
colleagues would laugh at me and pretend to pinch their nose everytime they pass by my seat and see me in slippers and trying to dry my wet socks
i'm starting to feel more energetic and can last longer whereas previously i would feel lethargic and my lips would feel dry at the end of the day after sweating throughout the whole day
i feel my mental condition improving overall and i feel more chirpy and start cracking jokes with others, even strangers that i've just met whereas previously i would not even have the mood to chat with them and would just keep quiet and moody to myself
however, there is still the rest of the 40% that i must cure...at least for now i've decided to take this consistently for at least 3 months to give it a good shot at curing my conditions fully |

its been about a month since i've been on probiotics
results so far has been nothing less than amazing for me
i'm almost 80% cured and even on hot days i dont sweat that much on my palms and feet anymore...even if i do, just a quick blow on the fan or getting back to room temperature will be sufficient to dry up
however, a few days back i was down with a flu and with the H1N1 thing goin around i decided to visit a doc rather than ride it out...
the doc prescribed antibiotics and i asked him if it was really necessary...he insisted on it coz of the current situation...so i had no choice but to take it
well the reason that i'm hesitant is because antibiotics would flush out all the bad bacteria AND the good ones including my probiotics from by body.
obviously i was quite reluctant after all the hard work that i had gone thru and also spending a bomb!
but alas, left with no choice....needless to say after the first antibiotics pill that i pop, it made my palms and feet sweat like it used to
pouring and flooding...
however, the next day i wasn't really sweating that much anymore...was expecting it to continue flooding actually since i'm weak from the flu med and antibiotics
wonder why...maybe my body has got used to it?
anyways i cant wait to finish up my antibiotics and recover from this flu so that i can continue taking my probiotics again....
looking forward to fully recovering in within a couple of months or so...i hope |
