For 2 years, I had a manager who seemed to be one of the few people in the world who could sweat more than me!
One day, while we were having a meal in a cool restaurant, he started pouring with sweat while I haven't even started! I asked him if he heared of a surgery for 'hyperhidrosis' called 'ETS' and he became very upset.
He explained to me how many years ago, he went for a surgery in Singapore to cure his problem with sweaty palms. "They put a small camera in my armpits..."
I became clear to me that he had ETS (although he did not seem to know the name) and that ever since, his palms have been dry but he has developed severe compensatory sweating everywhere else! This made him very frustrated, but his surgeon said that nothing can be done about it.
He has also become depressive and has been under anti-depressents for some time now.
For this reason, I would never go for ETS myself. Not until technology can improve on the surgery to ensure that no such side effects will ever occur. Also, it seems necessary to me that the hospital should provide some sort of 'insurance coverage' to ensure that remedial treatment (eg. a nerve graft operation) can be given for free, if such severe side effects occurs. |

sweatm/c,
You'll never get 100% from the hospital. Even minor surgery. _________________ My life is brighter now! |

Side effects of the surgery are numerous. Some are immediately and directly related and surgically. Some side effects are long term and may last the rest of his life. Gastric bypass is strictly medical developed to help people who suffer from morbid obesity with weight problems. _________________ live casino |
